Affiliate Disclosure
FindMyRomantasy is reader-supported. When you tap a “Watch on” or “Try” button and go on to install an app or subscribe, we may earn a commission from the app at no extra cost to you. Those commissions are the only way this site is funded — there is no advertising, no sponsored placement and no paid review.
Which links are affiliate links
Every outbound link to an app or a series is an affiliate link. There are no unmarked ones, and there is no version of this site where some app links pay and others do not. In practice that means every gold button, and nothing else: internal links between our own pages are plain links, and we do not link out to anywhere that is not one of the 12 apps we cover.
All of them route through /go/ on this domain before forwarding you on, which is how the tracking URL stays swappable in one place instead of being pasted into hundreds of pages. That page does nothing but redirect.
Why it does not change the rankings
Every app on this site is monetised through the same affiliate programme at the same rate. That is the important structural fact: we are not choosing between a partner who pays well and one who does not, because there is no such choice to make. Moving an app up the page would earn us nothing extra.
Beyond the structure, the process: rankings and scores are set editorially before monetisation is looked at, and we publish criticism of every app we cover — including the ones at the top. We also publish pages for apps we have not reviewed, which carry the same affiliate links and explicitly no score, because monetising a page is not a reason to pretend we have an opinion. The method is set out in full on how we review.
What happens when you tap a link
You are forwarded to the app’s own store listing or landing page with a tracking parameter attached. That parameter tells the affiliate programme the visit came from here and, if you go on to install, credits the commission. It identifies this site and the page you were on — not you.
We do not receive your name, your email address, your payment details or anything you do inside the app. What comes back to us is aggregate: how many people installed from a given page. We use analytics on our own pages to understand which pages are useful; that is covered by the usual cookie and analytics tooling and is separate from the affiliate relationship.
What we will not do for money
We will not accept payment for a ranking position, a score, or inclusion. We will not publish a review of an app nobody here has used. We will not quote a coin price we have not verified, or state one at all — they change weekly and a confidently stale price costs a reader real money. And we will not recommend an app we would tell a friend to skip.
If any of that ever stops being true, this page changes first.
Independence of the ratings
The content ratings — romance heat and the story rating — have no commercial dimension at all. No app has ever asked us to move one, and if one did, the answer would be no: the ratings exist so a reader knows what they are getting into before episode one, and an app does not get a say in that. How the ratings work.
