There are 39 guides here, all built from the live catalogue rather than written once and left to rot. Every one lists real titles with both ratings, says which app each is on, and only publishes at all once it has enough genuine entries to be worth reading.

Which app is best for a theme

The highest-intent question on the site, and the one the apps will never answer: if you are here for werewolves, or dragons, or contract marriages, which app actually carries the most of them? These rank the apps by depth in a single theme — a count from the live catalogue, not an opinion — and name what to start with on each.

Depth is not quality, and the ranking says so on every page. The biggest library in the category also has the earliest paywall. But depth is the thing you cannot find out without installing all fourteen apps, so it is the thing worth counting.

One theme, month by month

The same idea as the monthly round-up, narrowed to a single theme. Useful if you are caught up on a genre and only want what is new in it — and useful for seeing which themes the apps are actually investing in, because a theme that added forty titles last month and four this month is telling you something.

These only exist for the themes with enough volume to fill one. A month of vampire short dramas is three titles and does not deserve a page, so it does not get one.

If you loved the book

Bridges from properties people already love. Short dramas cannot do what a four-hundred-page fantasy novel does, and these pages say so rather than pretending otherwise. What they can do is deliver the beat you reread — the bargain, the turn, the reveal — every few minutes instead of every few chapters.

The matching is an editorial judgement about what the source is actually about, applied to the catalogue. It is not a keyword lookup, and where the fit is loose we say so.

How these guides are built

Every guide on this page is generated from the same catalogue crawl that powers the library: 91,170 series across 14 apps, of which we list the 2,004 newest English-language titles carrying a real synopsis. That means the counts on these pages are measurements rather than claims, and they move when the catalogue moves.

It also means a guide can fail to exist. Each kind is gated on a genuine item count, and one that would ship thin never generates at all — which is why you will not find every theme crossed with every month here. A directory that manufactures a page for every possible combination ends up with thousands of near-empty pages and a sitewide quality problem; the gate is what stops that.

Ratings work the same way everywhere on the site. Every title carries a story rating for violence, threat and dark themes, and titles someone here has actually watched also carry a romance heat rating. Where we have not watched something you get the platform’s own synopsis and a provisional rating derived from it, labelled as provisional and deliberately rounded up — the full explanation is on the heat scale page.

We do not quote coin prices in any guide. The apps change them often enough that any figure would be stale within weeks, and a stale price is worse than none — so guides describe pricing shapes instead, and the ranked app comparison covers which apps respect your money.
