Privacy Policy
FindMyRomantasy is a static website. It has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no forms, so there is nothing you can type into it and nothing it stores about you on its own servers. What it does collect is set out below, in full.
Analytics
The site loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics 4. Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where you are, what device and browser you use, and which links you tap, including taps on the gold affiliate buttons. It sets cookies on this domain to tell one visit from the next. We use it to see which pages are read and which links are used, so we know what to write next. We do not use it to show advertising, and the site carries no advertising. Google’s own handling of this data is described in Google’s privacy policy, and you can opt out of Analytics across the web with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking the googletagmanager.com domain in your browser also works and breaks nothing on the site.
Affiliate links
Every gold button goes through an address on this domain beginning /go/, which forwards you to the app’s store listing through an affiliate network. That network records the referral so the app can pay us a commission if you install. The forwarding address carries a short placement code that tells us which page and button you tapped, and nothing about you. From the moment you leave this site, the app’s and the network’s privacy policies apply. Details are on the affiliate disclosure.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel, whose servers keep standard access logs: the address a request came from, the page requested and the time. Those logs are used for security and capacity and are retained by Vercel under its privacy policy.
Images from other sites
Cover art and app logos are loaded from the apps’ own content networks, sometimes through Vercel’s image service. Loading an image from another company’s server sends that server your browser’s address, as any embedded image does.
Children
The site is written for adults choosing an app. It is not directed at children and it collects nothing knowingly from anyone under 16.
Your rights and contact
Because we hold no account or contact data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request; analytics data is held by Google and subject to its controls above. If you have a question about this policy, see the about page.
